Nissan Cars, your most common questions answered.

Grattan Motors Nissan is a Nissan Authorised Service Agent. We have been supplying the newest Nissan models to clients throughout Dublin and Ireland for decades.

As such, we often get asked questions about Nissan makes and models. Therefore, we have compiled some of the most common questions and added them to this blog.

Where are Nissan cars made?

Nissan cars are manufactured in various locations worldwide, including in Japan, the United States, the United Kingdom, Thailand, India, South Africa, and Mexico.

What is the warranty on Nissan cars?

The warranty on Nissan cars varies depending on the model and year of the vehicle. However, most new Nissan cars come with a basic limited warranty that covers the vehicle for three years or 36,000 miles*(whichever comes first) and a powertrain warranty that covers the engine, transmission, and drivetrain for five years or 60,000 miles*(whichever comes first). Some Nissan models may also come with an additional warranty for specific components, such as the hybrid battery, and for particular regions, there could be different warranty periods.

*Warranty details change, so please speak to our customer service agents for the latest information.

What Nissan cars are hybrid?

Nissan currently offers several hybrid models, including:

Nissan Altima Hybrid: This hybrid sedan is based on the regular Altima but features a hybrid powertrain that combines a 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine with an electric motor and a lithium-ion battery.

Nissan LEAF: The LEAF is a fully electric vehicle; it does not have a gasoline engine at all

Nissan Rogue Hybrid: This hybrid SUV is based on the popular Rogue model and features a hybrid powertrain that combines a 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine with an electric motor and a lithium-ion battery.

Nissan Murano Hybrid: This hybrid SUV is based on the regular Murano and features a hybrid powertrain that combines a 3.5-litre V6 engine with an electric motor and a lithium-ion battery.

The availability and model name may vary depending on the market; it's best to check with your local Nissan dealer for more information on the hybrid models available in your area.
